I describe myself as a self taught photographer
I photograph nature and landscapes are mainly my target.
Photography is a conscious creative process whereby the author tries to organize the environment that he is seeing by enhancing some aspects whereas ignoring others. By this "state of mind", the photographer creates his own view of what he already saw but he attempts to show the world as it is not by manipulating the image to the limits of fake.
I have been delving into infrared photograpy lately and quite a few images of it can be seen on this site.
However, one could -at a first sight- judge that infrared landscapes are an artificial representation of nature. My opinion is that infrared photograhpy, now easier than ever by shooting digitally, is a powerful tool by which the photographer emphasizes the vistas he is capturing by this "vantage" light he is using.
The viewer will see plenty of images that are related to my experience of backpacking to the areas being photographed and a brief captioning has been added to each image to facilitate where and when that shot was taken and/or how/what for it was.

Mi target fotográfico es principalmente la fotografía natural.
Se dice que la fotografía es un proceso cognoscitivo creativo por el cual el fotógrafo trata de ordenar el "caos" que lo rodea y decide resaltar ciertos aspectos de la naturaleza por sobre otros a fin de mostrar "su punto de vista" de lo natural. En esta tarea, el fotógrafo trata de brindar una representación lo más real del mundo que vé, alejándose de toda falsedad. Desde hace un tiempo he comenzado a indagar y practicar la fotografía infrarroja.
